Coronation Street is heading into one of its most intense weeks yet, where hidden truths refuse to stay buried and emotions run dangerously high. Be it a desperate escape plan that nearly changes everything, to a long-awaited confrontation that could finally bring closure, the drama is high in every corner of the cobbles.
Tim Stops Will From Fleeing Weatherfield
Ben panics when £2,000 goes missing from the safe, not realising Will has already handed the cash to Megan for their escape to France. Will pretends he is simply excited about starting fresh in Scotland, but when the Glasgow train cancellation exposes a crack in his story, Tim grows suspicious. Ben then realises Will’s passport is missing and urges Steve to warn Tim.
In Tim’s taxi, things take an emotional turn as Tim opens up about his own abuse by Trisha and helps Will see that he is also a victim. Shaken, Will decides not to leave and agrees to report Megan. However, while Ben feels relieved, Maggie looks uneasy, especially when Melanie later calls, hinting that another family truth may be ready to explode.
Tim Finally Confronts Trisha in Coronation Street
After helping Will, Tim still has one painful chapter left unfinished. Sally worries that he has not truly faced what happened to him, so she speaks to Steve at the cab office and pushes Tim to confront the woman from his past.
Tim tracks Trisha down at work and finally says what he has carried for years. He tells her that whatever excuse she may have, she abused him when he was only 14. Now, the big question is whether Trisha will accept responsibility or twist the truth again.
Jodie Moves In On Daniel’s Secret
After David throws Jodie out, she hits back by making Shona question what really happened during the bedroom incident. With nowhere else to go, Jodie overhears Ken talking about Daniel’s fake trip and quickly spots an opportunity.
She lets herself into Daniel’s flat and claims she found his spare key, but Daniel does not believe her. When she threatens to expose his lie, he is forced into a difficult position. Later, Jodie pretends to leave No.8 peacefully, but her behaviour soon gets worse as she undermines Cassie and secretly gives sweets to Bertie and Dorin.
Sam Spirals As The Threats Continue
Sam wants to watch a meteor shower with Hope, but she refuses, leaving him to head out alone. Things turn frightening when Will confronts him, causing Sam to drop and smash his telescope before running away terrified.
Leanne finds him shaken, and although Hope first encourages him to speak out, she later mocks his fear of Will. Sam grows more distressed, and when he overhears his family discussing counselling, he believes they do not trust him. Roy later spends time with him and finds Sam agitated over a tracking device hidden in his school bag.
Gary Becomes The Main Suspect In Theo’s Murder
Kit and Lisa agree that Gary’s alibi does not add up, making him their prime suspect in Theo’s murder case. Police search the builder’s yard and collect possible evidence, including scaffolding poles, while Lisa also begins to notice Todd watching her closely.
Meanwhile, Summer reveals she has been offered a place at an American university, and Todd urges her to take the opportunity. But the case hits another wall when deleted CCTV footage from Gary’s computer cannot be recovered, leaving Kit and Lisa back at square one.
