Brody’s Day Out Ends In Trouble
The drama begins when Brody Michaelis, Dylan Wilson and Betsy Swain try to order drinks at the Rovers. The trio hope to enjoy some time together, but their plans quickly fall apart when Sean Tully refuses to serve them. Since Brody is still under 18, Sean will not allow them to buy alcohol.

With nowhere else to go, the friends decide to buy cans of booze and hang out near the swings in the precinct instead. At first, everything seems fine. However, things soon take a nasty turn when three intimidating boys approach them.
The gang demand that Brody, Dylan and Betsy hand over their alcohol. When the friends refuse, the situation becomes tense. A Corrie insider explained: “Brody and Dylan immediately square up to the ringleader. It’s brave of them as he’s a right nasty piece of work!”
Brody Runs As The Gang Chases Him In Coronation Street
As the confrontation grows more serious, Brody realizes they are outnumbered. Wanting to protect his friends, he tells Dylan and Betsy to run while he heads off in the opposite direction.

The insider revealed: “When tensions hit a high point, Brody orders Dylan and Betsy to make a run for it, which buys him time to leg it in the opposite direction. But unfortunately for Brody, the thugs sprint after him as fast as they can…”
Suddenly, Brody finds himself running for his life through the precinct. Luckily, help is closer than he thinks. While trying to escape the gang, he comes across Debbie Webster, Sally Metcalfe, Bernie Winter, Glenda Shuttleworth and Christina.
Earlier that day, the women had been dealing with hangovers after a heavy night at Chariot Square. However, by the time Brody runs into them, they are back on their feet and enjoying their day out together. The women quickly realize that Brody is in trouble and waste no time coming to his rescue.
