Why Todd Is Starting To Doubt Gary In Coronation Street
There is no shortage of suspects in Theo’s murder case. Theo made plenty of enemies before he died, and many people had reasons to want revenge. Todd is one of them after suffering through a painful and abusive relationship with Theo.
George Shuttleworth, Christina Boyd, Summer Spellman and Danielle Silverton have also found themselves under suspicion.
But Gary remains one of the biggest suspects. He worked with Theo and was once his friend, but everything changed when Gary learned how badly Theo treated Todd. Gary’s past actions have also made it easier for people to believe he could be involved.
Things look even worse because Gary smashed up Theo’s van with a sledgehammer on the day Theo died. He later deleted the footage. When police started asking questions, Maria Connor gave Gary a false alibi, making the situation look even more suspicious.
A Shocking Accusation Changes Everything
At the same time, rumors are spreading about Gary and Sarah Platt. Since Sarah was attacked on the night Theo died, she and Gary have been spending a lot of time together. They have shared private conversations, and Gary has often defended Sarah when others have criticised her.
The situation becomes even more complicated because Sarah is dating DS Kit Green, one of the officers investigating Theo’s murder. Kit already suspects Gary and has questioned him about the case. Gary believes Kit is simply jealous and looking for a reason to blame him.
Everything comes to a head at a dinner party. In front of everyone, Maria suddenly claims that Gary and Sarah have been having an affair for weeks. The accusation leaves the guests stunned and creates chaos around the table.
Todd already has enough problems of his own. To make matters even more dramatic, Kit is thinking about proposing to Sarah. After the dinner party disaster, Todd meets Sarah and tells her he believes there is more going on than people know. The big question is whether Sarah will finally tell Todd the truth.
