Cassie returns home after spending some time away from her family. She explains that she simply needed some time to herself. Soon after, Hope invites everyone to a family meal at the Bistro, and Cassie agrees to join them.
During the meal, Steve tells Cassie that he wants to forget everything that has happened over the past few days and get back to where they were. Although Cassie listens, she keeps her guilty feelings hidden.
Hope and Ruby then reveal a huge surprise for Tyrone. They tell him that they secretly sent off a sample of his DNA and managed to find his father. The news leaves Tyrone completely stunned, and he has no idea how to react.
