The botched-up procedure caused her to contract sepsis, and now she will have to live with a permanent stoma bag.
The consequences of the surgery will truly alter the course of her life forever. Currently, the Platts need to come up with tens of thousands in medical bills to be able to get Bethany discharged. But these are not the only problems she is slated to face in the future. Coronation Street Spoilers tease that soap boss Iain MacLeod teased a romance for Daniel and Daisy.
We know that Daniel Osborne is currently dating Bethany Platt. However, according to Iain MacLeod, he will be reunited with Daisy before 2024 ends. In fact, they will be stronger than ever. This means Bethany is going to lose this relationship and be heartbroken. But does that mean she has to remain single? Perhaps not!
There is a possibility that Ryan Connor may return to reconnect with Bethany once again. The two do have a history, and they also always had chemistry. She has a tough road ahead of her, as teased by Lucy Fallon. So, it would actually be nice to see Ryan return and support her through the tough times.
Finding love with Ryan could also go a long way in helping Bethany overcome her insecurities that caused her to take the life-altering decision of getting the cosmetic procedure in the first place. Honestly, we, as well as, many other Corrie fans have always liked Ryan and Bethany together. So, it is safe to say that if this happens, there will be a large section of the fandom rooting for them!
