“I think she’s just lashing out,” Tina O’Brien explained her character Sarah Barlow’s outburst at Daniel on Coronation Street. Things are extremely tough for Sarah right now as she is struggling to come to terms with what has happened to Bethany, and that her daughter is now going to live with a permanent stoma. Above that, she also needs to come up with a large sum of money to be able to pay off the medical fee at the Turkish hospital.
Amid all the tense chaos, when Sarah learns that Daniel Osbourne had previously ignored calls from a Turkish phone number she gets furious. Furthermore, when she realizes that Daniel ignored the calls because he was occupied chit-chatting with his ex Daisy Midgeley, she completely loses it.
Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Sarah now believes that Bethany made the disastrous decision to get a lipo because she was suffering insecurities over Daniel and Daisy’s relationship. Irritated and angered, she ordered Daniel to return to Weatherfield and leave her alone with her daughter.
“She’s really angry and believes there’s potentially something going on between him and Daisy,” Tina pointed. Sarah has overheard certain things that make her believe so, but she hasn’t really reached the bottom of the full story yet. Moreover, she does not like seeing Daniel with her daughter and would rather that they break up.

“She’s angry with Daniel, but I don’t think she would ever hold him responsible for Bethany choosing to get liposuction because at the end of the day, Bethany’s a grown woman and she makes her own decisions,” Tina admitted. Even though she does not blame him directly, will she now actively try to break Daniel and Bethany up?
