Mollie Gallagher is getting ready for a big new chapter in her acting career. The actress, who is best known for playing Nina Lucas in Coronation Street, has shared the cast for The Silence of the Lambs.

Mollie Gallagher Introduces Her New Theatre Cast
Mollie Gallagher recently shared the official cast list for The Silence of the Lambs, which will be her first professional stage production. She will play FBI trainee Clarice Starling in the world premiere of the stage adaptation.
Joining Gallagher in the production are John Partridge, Oliver Farnworth and Sam Jackson. The cast also includes Minal Patel, Jo Mousley, and Lottie Amor.
Besides, there’s also Mark Peachey as Pilcher, Andrew Joshi as Peterson, Jonny Magnanti as Wertimer and Mary Timbrell Hill in several ensemble roles.
Gallagher also shared how excited she is to take on the role of Clarice Starling. Fans were quick to congratulate her, with many saying they cannot wait to see her perform on stage.
What Fans Can Expect From The New Play
The Silence of the Lambs is based on Thomas Harris’ bestselling novel, which later became the Oscar-winning film. The new stage version has been adapted by Pulitzer Prize finalist and Gina Gionfriddo.
The story follows FBI trainee Clarice Starling as she seeks help from the imprisoned serial killer Dr. Hannibal Lecter. She hopes his knowledge will help the FBI catch another dangerous killer known as Buffalo Bill before he claims another victim. As the investigation moves forward, Clarice is forced into a tense psychological battle with Lecter.
This production marks a major milestone for Gallagher. After building a successful television career on Coronation Street, she is now set to perform in front of live audiences. Gallagher’s exit from Coronation Street has also been confirmed after almost seven years on the soap.
