Coronation Street fans will soon see a new side of Leanne Battersby as her romance with Idris Nazir becomes more serious. The couple have moved very quickly since they started dating, but things may not stay happy for long.
Leanne And Idris Move Their Relationship Forward
Leanne and Idris have only been dating since their first date last month, but their relationship has already become very serious. Next week, the couple will spend a steamy night together at the Chariot Square Hotel, showing just how fast their romance is moving.
This is Leanne’s first relationship since she and Nick Tilsley ended their on-and-off romance for good. Their relationship came to an end after Nick was caught cheating on Leanne with her stepsister, Toyah.
Even though they are no longer together, Leanne and Nick still get along because of Leanne’s close bond with Nick’s son, Sam Blakeman. However, Idris’s arrival is about to create problems between the former couple.
Nick Does Not Trust Idris
Actor Junade Khan, who joined Coronation Street as Idris in May after appearing in Emmerdale and Hollyoaks, has revealed that Nick will not be happy about Leanne’s new romance. “He doesn’t like the fact that it’s moving very quick with Idris and Leanne,” explained Junade.
The actor also shared that Sam quickly gets along with Idris, but Nick remains suspicious of him. “Sam gets involved, and likes Idris, which is nice. Idris has a good relationship with Sam, but Nick has a lot of reservations about Idris as a person. He doesn’t trust him whatsoever. It’s going to kick off between them at one point…”
Idris has already shown that he is not always honest. Earlier, he got teenager Brody Michaelis involved in his shady property business, proving that he is willing to take risks to get what he wants.
