Coronation Street Stars Turn Out For Glamorous ‘Bank Of Dave Musical’ Premiere

The world premiere of Bank of Dave the Musical brought plenty of famous faces to Salford’s Lowry Theatre on Thursday night. Several Coronation Street stars attended the big event to support former co-star Hayley Tamaddon, while fans also got to see a dramatic arrival from Dave Fishwick himself. From Clare Sweeney’s stylish red carpet look to James Cartwright stepping away from his dark soap storyline for the evening, the night turned into a star-filled celebration.

Dave Fishwick Arrives In Style At The Big Premiere

Dave Fishwick made sure everyone noticed his arrival at the world premiere of Bank of Dave the Musical. The businessman arrived outside the Lowry Theatre in one of his famous minibuses, with a brass band playing loudly as he pulled up to the venue.

Dave attended the gala night with his wife Nicky, and fans waiting outside gave the couple a huge welcome. People cheered and clapped as Dave greeted guests before heading inside for the opening night of the musical based on his life story.

Inside the theatre, many famous faces walked the red carpet for the special event. Several Coronation Street stars attended to support Hayley Tamaddon, who plays Dave’s wife Nicky in the musical.

Current Corrie stars at the event included Clare Sweeney, Jodie Prenger, Mollie Gallagher, Catherine Tyldesley, and Kate Robbins. Clare stood out in a dusty pink suit while guests also enjoyed posing for photos with a giant Bank of Dave banknote prop.

Corrie Stars Enjoy A Night Away From Soap Drama

James Cartwright was also among the Coronation Street stars attending the premiere. The actor has recently appeared in dramatic scenes on the ITV soap as villain Theo Silverton, whose shocking death has started a major murder mystery storyline.

Although viewers are eager to know what happens next on Coronation Street, James stayed quiet about any upcoming spoilers while speaking at the event. Instead, he looked happy to enjoy a fun night away from the tense drama currently playing out on screen.

Former Corrie stars Tupele Dorgu and Will Mellor also joined the celebrations. Other television personalities attending the premiere included CBeebies favourite Evie Pickerell, Bargain Hunt’s Danny Sebastian, and TV doctor Dr Ranj Singh.
