Farrel Hegarty and Julia Goulding have come together for a special cause away from Coronation Street. The actresses recently appeared in a fun Instagram reel for Tombola UK to support Breast Cancer Now.

Instead of delivering a serious message, they used humor and everyday situations to remind people how important it is to check their breasts regularly and talk openly about breast health. Scroll down for more details.

Farrel Hegarty And Julia Goulding Share An Important Breast Check Message

The reel begins with the words, “Boobs, baps, breasts, melons. Some are big, some are not so big. All right. But no matter what you call them, it’s important to check them.” It then asks where people should have this conversation before showing funny examples like being at a wedding, on a boat, while rock climbing, or even after a football match.

In one scene, Julia Goulding says, “I wouldn’t know what I was looking for, to be honest.” Farrel Hegarty replies, “Well, I didn’t either, but then I found out everything I need to know because…” She then explains that she visited the Tombola website, which is working with Breast Cancer Now, and found all the information she needed.

The reel ends by saying people can simply have the conversation “over a brew.” The actresses also encourage each other to check their breasts. Through simple jokes and everyday chats, the campaign shows that talking about breast health should feel normal and easy.

Shona And Lou Crossed Paths During The Michaelis Family Fallout

Julia Goulding’s Shona Platt and Farrel Hegarty’s Lou Michaelis recently shared several scenes during the aftermath of the Michaelis family storyline.

As Lou struggled with the consequences of her abusive relationship with Mick Michaelis and tried to hold her family together, Shona was among the Weatherfield residents who found themselves caught up in the drama surrounding the Platts and the Michaelis family.

Their storylines overlapped as tensions spread across the street following Mick’s crimes and Lou’s difficult decisions. More recently, the actresses reunited away from the ITV soap and delighted fans by recreating their on-screen chemistry in the Breast Cancer Now campaign for Tombola UK.

Julia shared moments from the collaboration on social media, with many Coronation Street viewers saying they were happy to see the pair back together and even hoping Lou could return to Weatherfield in the future.
