Todd and Theo’s relationship have been tensed lately in Coronation Street, but the drama is only just getting started. The tension came to a head recently when Todd, during a night out, put Theo’s phone on airplane mode. What he didn’t realise was that Danielle was trying to call, Millie had been rushed to the hospital. Theo missed the call, and things between him and Todd got even frostier after that.
As if that wasn’t enough, Millie confided in Theo that she’s not happy living with her mum. Theo, trying to do the right thing, suggested she stay at Number 11 a bit longer. That move has only given her more time and space to quietly push her own agenda.
Meanwhile, Todd’s been bonding with newly single James Bailey. The two shared a drink at the Rovers after one of Todd’s arguments with Theo, and the chemistry was pretty hard to miss. Fans have already started whispering, should Todd leave Theo and give things a shot with James instead?
Millie Starts Playing Her Own Game in Coronation Street
Later this month, Millie will take things up a notch. After clocking the jealousy in her dad when James mentions he’s started working as a personal trainer, Millie sees an opportunity and takes it.
She tells Todd she’s booked him a training session with James, as a way to say sorry for her earlier behaviour. On the surface, it sounds like a sweet gesture. But she’s playing Todd, using the situation to quietly stoke the fire between him and Theo.
Todd doesn’t question it at first. But it’s clear Millie’s trying to drive a wedge between the two men, perhaps hoping to shift all of Theo’s focus back onto her. It’s a clever move, and Todd might not even realise what’s happening until it’s too late.
Things get even trickier later in the week when Todd catches Millie with a can of lager. Shocked that she’s drinking while pregnant, he calls her out on the spot. But Millie begs him not to tell her dad. Now Todd’s stuck. Does he keep quiet to keep the peace, or tell Theo the truth and risk another major blow-up?
Millie’s playing a dangerous game, and Todd’s stuck in the middle of it. Theo, meanwhile, is already on edge. If he finds out Todd’s keeping secrets, or worse, spending more time with James, it could be the final straw. So what’s Todd going to do?
