In April, Shaw revealed that doctors had diagnosed her with breast cancer. The actress recently shared a new Instagram post after undergoing her second round of chemotherapy.
Alongside a video montage showing moments from her recovery journey, Shaw spoke openly about the effects of treatment and the support she has received from followers. She wrote: “Chemo 2 hit hard. Prepared for side effects this time, Thank you for all your advice and support 🙏🏻”.
Shaw also reflected on the purpose of the treatment and her determination to keep fighting. She added: “Grateful chemo is hitting hard because imagine how the HER2 positive cancer feels👏🏻 I’m still standing 🫡 So many messages I haven’t caught up with, but I will get there I promise x Love light and peace to everyone’s Sunday 🕊️🙏🏻❤️.”
