It is none other than the enthralling Tupele Dorgu. Long-term fans will remember her as the iconic Kelly Crabtree. Or “Legs”, as her boss liked to call her! She played the character for six scintillating years before hanging the hat in 2010.
After a whopping 14-year hiatus, the popular Corrie star is all set to make her soap comeback! In her earlier days on the soap, she was ready to leave her Underworld knicker-stitching profession. However, she had to push the brake on her plan when the most unexpected twist came her way. She found out that her fiancé cheated on her, and decided to change her plans.
Kelly managed to convince her boss to keep her on, and he agreed. Their association became strong to a point, where he even nicknamed her “Legs”. Kelly soon became a fan favorite thanks to her banger performance and sensation screen presence. However, she soon became embroiled in drama with a capital D when she tried to seduce her bestie’s boyfriend, Lloyd Mullaney, and her relationship with Becky Granger turned sour.
In 2010, Kelly left Coronation Street after a clash with the new factory owner. Carla convinced Nick Tilsley to fire Kelly, after she found out that the woman had accessed the accounting information. Legs then decided to walk out of Weaterfield forever, in a rather bold move. “I’m Kelly Crabtree, with the legs!” she claimed as she left. And folks, that was pretty much the last that we saw of her.
Tupele Dorgu is now all set to return to soaps! She will appear in the final episode of Doctors on BBC! Although not much has been revealed about the final episode and the story, we do know that Tupele’s character is named Bev!
