Coronation Street: Tyrone’s Daughters Make A Discovery Behind His Back
Earlier in the week, Cassie struggles with her relationship with Steve and heads to Chariot Square. Frustrated by how things have been going between them, she starts drinking and ends up flirting with a man at the bar.
Guilt soon catches up with Cassie, and she returns to No. 1. There, Hope invites her to an upcoming family meal. Steve then reassures Cassie that he wants to move past the difficulties of the last few days, giving her hope that they can leave the tension behind.
However, the family meal brings a much bigger surprise. Ruby and Hope reveal that they sent some of Tyrone’s DNA to a website and managed to find his father.
Hope then admits they have also been messaging the man while pretending to be Tyrone and telling him he would love to meet.
Ross Walks Into The Bistro And Leaves Everyone Stunned
The girls’ secret plan suddenly becomes real when Ross walks into The Bistro. Tyrone has no idea how to react as he realizes he is looking at his biological father for the first time, leaving him shocked and confused by the unexpected meeting.
Cassie faces an even more complicated situation. She immediately recognizes Ross as the same man she had been flirting with at Chariot Square earlier in the week. His arrival now connects her mistake at the bar to one of the biggest changes in Tyrone’s life.
A Weatherfield source previously explained just how deeply the discovery will affect Tyrone, saying: “This is life-changing for Tyrone. It was only three years ago that he met his mum Cassie, now he’s seeing his real dad in the flesh for the first time. Further spoilers reveal that Tyrone will not immediately shut Ross out of his life.
However, Cassie may find the situation much harder to accept because of her earlier encounter with Ross. As Tyrone considers getting to know his father, the big question is whether Cassie can put her own feelings aside and support her son.
