Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has shared some wonderful family news with fans. The actor, who plays David Platt in the ITV soap, and his wife Hanni have welcomed their first child together.

Jack And Hanni Welcome Their Baby Girl
Jack P Shepherd and his wife Hanni announced the birth of their baby girl on Instagram. They posted a beautiful black-and-white photo showing their hands holding their newborn daughter’s tiny fingers.
The couple also revealed their daughter’s name, Constance Ita Shepherd. Along with the photo, they shared a heartfelt message that read: “Our beautiful baby girl has arrived, born peacefully at home, surrounded by love.”
This is the first child Jack and Hanni have welcomed together. Before becoming a mum, Hanni worked on Coronation Street as a storyline writer, so many people from the soap were quick to celebrate the special news.

Many of Jack’s Coronation Street co-stars filled the comments section with kind messages. Georgia Taylor wrote: “Oh darling! So thrilled for you both, and what a beautiful name xxx”. Tina O’Brien, who plays Sarah Platt, commented: “Congratulations to you both xxxx,” while Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha Alahan, wrote: “Huge congratulations to you both!!!”
Sally Dynevor also congratulated the couple by writing: “Oh wonderful, so happy for you, what a beautiful name. Lots of love to you all xxxx” Sue Devaney added: “Gorgeous beautiful little girl and what a wonderful name. Congratulations Hanni and Jack! Can’t wait to meet her.”
The happy news also received love from stars outside Coronation Street. Emmerdale actor Danny Miller wrote: “Congratulations you three! All the love in the world.” The couple’s announcement was soon filled with warm messages as friends celebrated the arrival of baby Constance Ita Shepherd.
