A video filmed by Kathryn Leann, founder and CEO of Interpreting Sports and owner of Boston Sports Tours, showed Robertson fully embracing the celebrations. Wearing a cream and green vest, the actor waved his arms in the air, joined supporters in chanting, and soaked up the festive atmosphere as fans gathered in the streets.
Some football supporters even climbed onto tables outside a nearby pub as the celebrations continued. The video soon spread across social media, and Coronation Street fans quickly recognised the actor. One Reddit user wrote: “Is that an absolutely clattered Adam Barlow? [Sam Robertson]”
