Samia Longchambon Shares How She Stays Fit In Her 40s
The Eccles-born actress posted a video on Instagram showing herself doing a Pilates workout at home. Her beloved dog Ralph also appeared in the video and stayed close while she exercised.
Samia explained that she does not enjoy going to the gym, so she prefers to work out at home. She wrote: “I don’t love going to the gym so all my workouts are done at home… usually with my furry PT at my side,” before making a joke about her husband, Sylvain Longchambon. “My husband @slongchambon is a brilliant PT but I can’t train with him.. for the sake of our marriage it’s for the best I work out alone.”
The actress then shared her usual routine after fans sent her messages asking how she keeps fit. She said: “For those who have messaged asking what I do to keep fit, ideally I aim to do… 2-3 treadmill runs of 5k per week, 3 yoga or Pilates sessions. I use @movewithnicole for Pilates and @adrienelouise for yoga. I’m no fitness expert but I find that keeping active not only helps my body but it calms my mind.. especially the yoga, and I genuinely miss it and notice the change in my mood when I don’t do anything for a few days! #wellness #fitoverforty #pilates #yoga #running.”
