Coronation Street star Sydney Martin has given fans a fun look inside her handbag in a new Instagram video. The actress, who plays Betsy Swain on the ITV soap, recently bought a new bag and decided to show followers everything she carries with her every day. Coronation Street Star Sydney Shows Off Her New Favourite Bag
Sydney started the video by explaining why she wanted to film it. She said: “I just got a new handbag and I love watching What’s In My Bag videos, so I thought I would show you what’s in mine as I’ve just filled her up.”
She then showed fans her new brown handbag from TK Maxx and explained why she likes it so much. Sydney said: “I all, like I have too many like small bags and big bags, but she just seems the perfect little size.” She also admitted that the tidy version of her bag would not last long.
Joking about her organisation skills, she said: “This is definitely not gonna be like a good representation though, because within about three days she will be messy, so this is pretending to be type A, but realistically I’m type B. One of the first things she pulled out was her water bottle. Sydney explained that she needs to stay hydrated because she is taking Accutane.
She said: “Water, water, water. I’m a dehydrated girly because I’m on Actane, so most important.” She also showed off her manifestation journal and added: “Speaking of this, it says, let your ideas grow. And I write all my manifestations in this. I hope you couldn’t see them then because it’s top secret.”
The Essentials Sydney Never Leaves Home Without
Sydney revealed that she loves keeping things organised in small pouches. One pouch from Accessorize contained tampons, a hypochlorous facial spray, Benetint, a Tide stain-removal stick and several pairs of contact lenses. She also carries her glasses with her, especially for those very early morning drives to work.
Another pouch is filled with medication and health essentials. Sydney said: “I have paracetamol, Lemsip, anxiety tablets, such as Accutane. Anything I could ever need is in my pouch.” She also keeps her favourite beauty products close by, including Wild Coconut & Vanilla deodorant, EOS Coconut Water spray and Glossier You perfume. Talking about the perfume, she said: “This is a rogue one because it’s your pH. Like it smells different depending on your pH.”
The actress also carries an umbrella, a hairbrush for her long hair extensions, a portable charger, tissues, chewing gum and a calming hand balm with lavender, jasmine and sandalwood. Sydney revealed that she is trying to get back into reading, so she also keeps a book in her bag.
Her smaller pouch contains earphones, a loyalty card for a crystal shop in Affleck’s, Aquaphor lip balm and thick hair ties. Sydney also showed three crystals that she carries with her. She explained: “I have a rose quartz, which is just an obvious one. Citrine and green aventurine, aventurine, a grown aventurine. These are great for like success, career, and then rose quartz, love.”
