Tina O’Brien has shown off a subtle new look just weeks after her character became central to one of the biggest recent twists of Coronation Street.

Tina O’Brien Shows Off A New Look After Sarah’s Killer Reveal
Tina, who has played Sarah since 1999, shared a string of photos on Instagram after making a slight change to her trademark hair colour. Showing off a darker blonde shade, she wrote: “Got my hair did,” and quickly received plenty of praise from fans and her Corrie co-stars.
Sally Carman-Duttine responded: “BEAUTY! [flame emojis].” @kellielouisex wrote: “The darker blonde suits. Perfect for the summer.” @xcodi_spencer added: “Your hair looks amazing Tina!” @clare_bradley_83 replied: “Gorgeous as always”. @sarahcook844 also commented: “You are so beautiful! Your hair looks stunning.”
The update came shortly after Coronation Street revealed Sarah as Theo Silverton’s killer. Theo’s lifeless body was discovered by a horrified Betsy Swain in April on the night of Lisa Swain and Carla Connor’s wedding.

The twist has left fans concerned about Sarah’s future and what the storyline could mean for Tina after 27 years. Last month, the actress explained how she first discovered her long-running character would be responsible for Theo’s death.
Tina said: “I was told in the green room by a few cast members. Apparently, Theo was going to be murdered. Everyone was being called in one at a time who was involved in the Coronation Street storyline.
“So that was my first thing, but I didn’t think I was going to be anything to do with it. I genuinely didn’t. When I was told this, I was like, ‘Oh my god, it’s going to be Summer!’. So everyone, different people go for their meetings and then they’re going, ‘Well, it’s it’s not me. I’ve been told I’m not the murderer!'”
