Could Betsy’s Next Storyline Be About Her Donor?
The main theory around Betsy and Dylan’s upcoming plot has been pregnancy, especially because the show has already teased that possibility before. Viewers previously saw a pregnancy test found in the rubbish bin, Betsy feeling sick, and Betsy eventually admitting to Lisa that she had slept with Dylan. So, it is easy to see why fans jumped to that conclusion.
However, a Reddit fan has suggested a very different direction. They pointed out that both Betsy and Dylan come from LGBTQ+ family backgrounds, and Dylan already understands what it means to have a donor-related family history. Sean acted as a donor for Violet, but he also became a parental figure in Dylan’s life, which means Dylan could understand Betsy’s emotions if she starts asking questions about her own biological background.
The theory also connects to something Lisa mentioned back in 2025. She said Betsy’s donor records were sealed until Betsy turned 18. Betsy is now 18. But the show never properly followed up on that detail because the storyline shifted toward Becky. That makes the donor question feel like unfinished business.
The original Reddit poster wondered whether Betsy may now want or need to meet her donor for some reason. They also speculated that the donor could be someone Lisa and Becky knew personally.
