Daniel Brocklebank Leaves A Sweet Message For Faye Brookes
After returning home to Manchester, Brocklebank took to social media to reflect on his latest adventure. The actor shared a photo with Brookes and spoke warmly about the time they spent together during their theatre run.
He wrote: “As I arrive back home in Manchester after my latest adventure I’m so very happy to have spent the last couple of months with this gorgeous lady making memories & theatre. What a lovely, lovely time we had Darling. Thank you for always being so bloody marvellous, so positive & so committed. I can’t wait to work & hang out with you again.”

The message came after the pair completed their run in the psychological thriller Double Double at the Barn Theatre in Cirencester. The production reunited the former soap stars years after they worked together on Coronation Street.
Brocklebank played Duncan in the show, while Brookes took on the role of Philippa. During the production’s run, both actors regularly shared updates and behind-the-scenes moments with fans, showing just how much they enjoyed the experience.
A Coronation Street Reunion Fans Didn’t Expect
Many Coronation Street viewers were delighted when Brocklebank and Brookes announced they would be appearing together on stage. While Brookes became well known for playing Kate Connor, Brocklebank spent more than a decade playing Billy Mayhew on the ITV soap.

Their theatre project gave fans the chance to see them reunite in a completely different setting. Away from Weatherfield, they took on challenging roles in a gripping stage drama and quickly reminded audiences why they were such popular members of the soap’s cast.
Since leaving the cobbles, Brocklebank has focused heavily on theatre work. Although his latest stage adventure has now finished, Brocklebank’s message makes it clear that the experience left a lasting impression on him.
