Days of Our Lives Recap: Kate Considers Alex’s Risky Proposal
Alex meets Kate at the Pub with a pitch: a steamy anonymous novel that could revive Titan Publishing. He hands over the manuscript and promises it’s not a scam. Kate, intrigued yet wary, agrees to read it. If it works, she might just run Titan again.
Though she claims publishing was a “lifetime ago,” the potential to return entices her. Kate exits with the manuscript, promising they’ll talk—if it proves worthwhile.
Stephanie Realizes Her Manuscript Is Missing
At her apartment, Stephanie hands Jada some coffee before chatting about the EJ shooting. Shawn calls in “sick,” raising eyebrows. But Steph soon notices her manuscript is gone. She freaks out, tears through the place, then rushes out with Jada for breakfast.
Later, she bumps into Alex, who reveals he has the manuscript. Stephanie quickly backpedals—she no longer wants it published and begs him to drop the idea. He’s hesitant, but she insists.
Days of Our Lives Recap: Sarah and Maggie Worry About Xander
Maggie and Sarah return downstairs after putting Victoria down for a nap. They’re immediately concerned about Xander’s hospital vanishing act and his obsession with Versavix. Sarah can’t reach him, which raises red flags. She worries he’s doing something awful.
Sarah also regrets hiding Philip’s secret and fears Xander would hate her for it. Maggie says it’s too late now. Sarah leaves for work, and Maggie notes how Victor-like Xander’s actions feel.
Philip, bleeding and gasping for air, lies on the floor while Xander keeps attacking. Xander rages about how Philip ruined the family. As Philip mutters “Sarah… knew,” he passes out. Xander dumps him on the bed and bolts just as Kate walks in.
Kate screams in horror at the sight of her son. Meanwhile, Xander checks Philip’s phone, finds something alarming, and rushes off.
Kevin Cracks Under Pressure
Shawn isn’t really sick—he’s meeting Steve to strategize about the stolen drug. They call Kevin, who’s panicked with the Versavix batch. Kevin dodges Philip’s calls, then reluctantly agrees to meet when Shawn drops the drug’s name.
Kevin reveals Philip made him steal it. He gave it to his roommate, who works at the hospital. Now, the drug’s missing again—and so is the roommate.
Days of Our Lives Recap: Philip’s Condition Is Critical
Philip is rushed to the hospital. Sarah steps in as Kate paces in panic. Jada arrives and starts asking questions. Kate suspects Xander but doesn’t reveal everything. Sarah confirms Philip’s injuries are serious—organ damage, internal bleeding, and unconsciousness. Jada wastes no time asking where Xander is. His motive is strong, and his timing suspicious.
Alex pleads with Stephanie to rethink publishing, but she stays firm. She doesn’t want the world knowing she wrote it. Alex agrees, disappointed. Maggie finds Xander nursing bloody knuckles. He claims a business deal collapsed, but Maggie doesn’t buy it. She reminds him Sarah will have questions. “I’ve got questions for her too,” Xander replies ominously.
Steve and Shawn urge Kevin to recover the drug, but his roommate isn’t picking up. No one knows where the Versavix went—and time is running out.
