Amy’s Grief and Sarah’s Raw Confession at the Pier
Amy visited Sophia’s bridge memorial and stood there reading cards that Ari and Tate had left behind. She was frozen when Sarah appeared with flowers and quiet sympathy. Through tears, Amy admitted she always ended up back at that spot, no matter where she was headed. Sarah listened without flinching. She gently pushed back on Amy’s certainty that Holly was entirely to blame. Amy was not ready to hear that.

Over at the Pub, Ari and Holly talked through the end of the school year. Holly admitted she had felt off since the drugging. Neither of them could stop thinking about Sophia. But Holly had no remorse for what she had said online and felt absolutely no responsibility for Sophia’s death.
When Ari gently suggested she talk to someone, Holly got defensive immediately and twisted the conversation back to Ari’s situation with Liam. Ari had had enough. She fired back that maybe Holly had forgotten what it was like having a mother around, given that hers was on the other side of the world. It landed. Although they kissed and made up quickly, the truth had already been said.
Gabi Makes Liam an Offer He Probably Should Not Have Accepted
At the Kiriakis mansion, Gabi summoned Liam under the pretense of business. The real agenda was a buyout. She offered him one hundred and fifty thousand dollars to leave Salem entirely and take his son Gage with him. Liam pushed back. His parents lived in Salem. He also had a plea deal with the DA that involved literacy tutoring.
Gabi rolled her eyes hard when she found out his tutor was Julie. She said she would handle Julie and work something out. But the condition was firm. Liam had to leave as soon as she sorted it. He agreed. Apparently his parents could manage without him.
Days Of Our Lives Recap: EJ Probes Cat and Chad’s Date Gets Crashed
At Small Bar, EJ and Cat settled in for drinks with a firm agreement not to discuss work. EJ ignored that agreement almost immediately. He vented about the hospital board threatening to push him out and shut the hospital down. He insisted the drug he was developing could help millions of people and admitted he stood to make a great deal of money from it too. Cat asked pointedly if he was still going through legitimate channels. EJ pivoted fast. He asked Cat about Sydney, calling her a wonderful woman and saying she would return to Salem once she finished school. Then EJ got to the real question. He asked Cat if Sami had ever visited him in Italy and whether she remembered anything from that time. Cat did not. EJ said he would unlock those memories one way or another and suggested a walk in the park.
Meanwhile, Chad and Belle had their second date in the square. Conversation wandered through the will reading, Lexie’s resurrection and Marlena’s mysterious chess set. They talked about summer plans that led nowhere and shared fond memories of John and his love of baseball. It was sweet. The sparks were not exactly flying though. Just as they agreed they wanted another date, EJ appeared with Cat in tow. He quipped “Picking up where I, uh, we left off, I see?” and whisked Cat away. Awkward for absolutely everyone involved.
