Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Tom And Alice Horton’s Romance
Salem is home to many legacy families. However, the Hortons are the OG legacy family of the soap. When DOOL first started back in the day, this family was in the front and center of it all. Alice and Tom were the heads of the family. Portrayed by Frances Reid and Macdonald Carey.
The latest Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that for the purpose of the recreation, actors Sydney K. Smith and Zach Chyz have been recast as young Alice and Tom Horton. Well, anyone who watches the soap knows how twisted the relationships in Salem really are.
Especially ever since the multiple new families took center stage and pushed the Hortons away from the limelight. Namely- DiMeras and Bradys. Although it is true that every family that exits in Salem has a mix of Horton blood in their line! So technically, the Hortons are not as extinct as one would think.
But, circling back to the point. If there has been one romance that remained untainted by the plethora of drama that happens in Salem, per Days of Our Lives spoilers, it is – Alice and Tom. The two were so very much in love till the end of their portrayers’ lives. Carey’s in 1994 and Reid’s in 2010.
So honestly, among the hot mess storylines that we see on DOOL, revisiting Alice and Tom’s undying love is going to be incredible. Days of Our Lives spoilers and preview video gave a little glimpse of the flashback, and it was ethereal!

I enjoyed watching the young young Alice Horton although it was strange to see two other actors play the roles of Francis Reed and McDonald’s carry it was it was a refresher quest for me because I only started watching the show in 1988 I started watching the show when Kayla and Steve’s first wedding around there when Kayla lost her hearing in the enclosure and so I was so I didn’t watch it since the beginning so it was a refresher quest with me to see how the the Clinton family came to be and all the children that they had and how the characters are all the wanting Family characters are all linked together I’ve been a loyal fan since 1988 so keep the story lines coming I enjoy it I watch it everyday when I come home from when I come home from the day so that is the only show I watch I love Days of Our Lives so keep the stories rolling
