Did Prince Harry Lead A MEDIA CAMPAIGN Against His Own Charity?

Sophie Chanaduka has sued Prince Harry for defamation in the London High Court. The Duke of Sussex is facing claims that he led a media campaign against the charity’s leadership. However, Harry has rejected these offensive accusations.

He also prepares for a legal battle. Elsewhere, this dispute has happened after a breakdown between the co-founders and the current board. Meanwhile, will this court case destroy the charity’s historic legacy? Keep scrolling to learn more.

Prince Harry Is Facing Fallout Over Charity Governance

The Duke is facing a new legal battle. Sentebale, the charity he co-founded, has officially sued him for defamation. Even Mark Dyer is also named as a defendant. Meanwhile, Sentebale says the pair arranged an adverse media campaign.

According to them, it caused a major reputational harm and operational disruption. This organisation was established in memory of Princess Diana by Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho. However, last year both founders resigned as patrons. It was in support of trustees who had quit over a management dispute with Sophie Chandauka. In fact, the Duke and Seeiso had claimed that the relationship with leadership was beyond repair.

RN/Sentebale has filed a defamation case against Harry.

But sources claim that Chandauka had accused Harry of “bullying at scale” and harassment. Sentebale’s leadership claims that Harry and Dyer created an onslaught of cyber-bullying directed at the charity and its partners. But Harry’s spokesperson has rejected this libel claim.

They have labelled the accusations as offensive and damaging. Also, royal observers have noted the timing of the lawsuit. It is happening as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are preparing to visit Australia.

Sentebale Is Facing Financial Struggles

Some reports indicate that Sentebale is experiencing financial difficulties. They have even seen their donations decrease. As a result, they have had to shut down multiple offices and centres. The people who criticize the lawsuit say that the discovery phase could shed light on the issue. Besides, it will most probably include a thorough examination of internal emails and financial documents.

RN/Harry’s team has denied the allegations.

Some fans of Harry seem to wonder who is funding the lawsuit. They wonder about the financial condition of the foundation and the large resignation of its trustees last year. Besides, the court case touches on some of the previous disagreements that Chandauka had.

And especially relating to the use of Netflix cameras at the fundraisers and Meghan’s spontaneous attendance at the events.
