A Former EastEnders Character Returns To The Square
A surprising blast from the past has returned to Walford. It’s happening as Ravi’s health is taking a dangerous turn. We have seen in the past that the BBC soap has mastered the art of an unexpected comeback. This includes the likes of Chrissie Watts and Cora Cross. However, now a former resident is walking back into the Square. With this, it will threaten the struggling informant at his most vulnerable moment.

In the recent episodes, we saw Ravi reaching a breaking point. He woke up from a ‘vivid’ nightmare and proceeded to self-harm. Also, he injured himself so severely that it required medical attention immediately. Hence, Priya rushed him to the hospital. However, in a staggering coincidence, the doctor on duty was none other than Nina Gupta. She is the former local GP who hasn’t been seen in the past 4 years.
We are all aware of the tangled history between her and Nina. She was the wife of the late Ranveer, whom Ravi killed to protect Suki before disposing of the body. In fact earlier, Ravi and Nina were secret lovers who plotted to steal Ranveer’s fortune. But in this scheme, Ravi double-crossed her to side with his own family. When Ravi sees his ex-lover in a position of power, it’s a massive showdown for the patient. Even Priya is shaken by the encounter.
Ravi’s Paranoia Reaches New Heights
Nina conducted a private examination of Ravi. However, she agreed not to inform the police regarding the self-inflicted injury. Later, she urged the businessman to seek professional help. But the meeting has had the opposite effect.

Ravi couldn’t find clarity after seeking help. In fact, he is convinced that his enemies were out to ‘get him’ and his family. The encounter with a ghost from his criminal past has made him believe that he is being hunted. Hence, he bought some extra locks for his flat in a desperate bid for security.
Next, he barricades his family inside. But can the family convince him to accept medical intervention on time? For more EastEnders spoilers and updates, keep following Soap Opera Daily.
