EastEnders: Jasmine Returns To The Square
There’s finally a sigh of relief from Jasmine Fisher. After being released from prison, there was an immediate reunion between the teenager and Oscar in the middle of Walford. Later, even Kat tried to make amends for her performance on the stand. However, Jasmine gave her a cold snub. Eventually, the tension boiled over, leading to a massive speech from the Slater matriarch in front of all the regulars.
To show support, even a job offer was made. It was to ensure that three generations of women now work together behind the bar. It was a display of loyalty which was meant to seal the bond. Also, this resulted in the girl officially being named Jasmine Slater. However, settling back into normal life will not be easy given the proximity of the grieving Truemans.
The two families sat on opposite sides of the Vic. Hence, it made the atmosphere incredibly awkward for everyone involved. Now, the court has made a decision. But the community is divided over whether justice was truly served. The Slaters have made a bold statement by bringing Jasmine into the family business.
