EastEnders star Belinda Owusu returned to Albert Square this week after ‘9’ years away from Walford. Now, the actor has spoken about the current storyline and the reason for returning after so many years. Meanwhile, here is how the actress felt about returning to the BBC soap.
Belinda Returns To Celebrate A Major Milestone On The EastEnders Set
A major Albert Square return brings a familiar face back to the Fox household this week. Yes, Libby Fox rushes home during a highly critical period for the family. Also, this exciting return brings the actress back to the regular cast after nine years away from the Square.
Belinda revealed, “It’s such a big moment for the family, and Libby would want to be there. When the Foxes first arrived they were a tight-knit trio of strong women with each other’s backs.”
Well, as we know the filming has coincided with Diane Parish completing twenty years on the show. Belinda added, “We reflected on how full circle it all felt. I’m now the same age she was when she joined, and like her then, I have two children. It was special to celebrate that with her.”
The actress also spoke about working with Rudplh Walker who plays Patrick Trueman. Also, she fekt that she was meeting the current Chelsea actress for the first time. And despite that they clicked straight away. Also, though the sets are now different, Belina felt at home. She added, “That speaks to the show’s energy, things change, but the warmth remains.”
Libby Tries To Convince Denise
Libby returned when she learnt that her mum had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. Also, Denise was refusing to go to the hospital or begin life-saving chemotherapy. And it’s because she doesnt want to abandon Chelsea during a separate family nightmare.
Now, Libby has a mission, and she teams up with her sister. They desperately convince Denise to step onto the hospital ward to start her medical treatment before things worsen. Next, we will also see Libby going behind Chelsea’s back. She will coordinate with Sheila, Chelsea’s ex-husband Gray Atkins’ grandmother.
Sheila even arrives in Waflord to offer financial support cheques for Jordan’s spinal rehab. However, Chelsea is hesitant to accept money. But Libby asks her to meet the grandmother for the baby’s health.
