Soap Legends Join Critically Acclaimed Stage Tour
Former BBC soap star Charlie Brooks is set to star in a major new production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. And Charlie will step into Judy’s role. Elsewhere, Joe McFadden, known for Holby City and Heartbeat, will play Ed. The actors will portray Chris Boone’s parents whose a brilliant teenager. However, he struggles to deal with the complexities of social cues and daily life.
Elsewhere, Charlie said, “I am thrilled to be part of this new production.” And McFadden was completely blown away by the original West End production. In fact, he is also eager to bring the moving and uplifting story to the audience.

Charlie played Janine Butcher on the BBC soap. Janine had returned to Albert Square five years ago. She was initially focused on regaining her daughter, Scarlett’s, custody. However, her storyline became a manipulative battle for Mick Carter’s love.
To keep Mick for herself, Janine caused problems between him and his estranged wife, Linda Carter. She even framed Linda for a car accident that Janine had caused while driving drunk. Soon, she was successful in marrying Mick on Christmas Eve while pregnant with his child.
However, on Christmas Day, Scarlett exposed Janine’s lies. Later, she drove her car off a cliff into the sea with Linda inside. Hence, Mick ‘dived’ in to save them.
