And now, the soap has confirmed the return of Patsy Palmer’s character on the show – but little does she know, someone else is right behind her. EastEnders legend Patsy Palmer will be heading back to Albert Square in the coming months, as she reprises her role of Bianca once again. However, little does she know that her dad, David Wicks, is hot on her heels. David’s return on the BBC programme was confirmed recently as actor Michael French reprises his role once again for a new storyline with Bianca.
Soap bosses took this to their official Instagram page to announce on Thursday. Viewers will witness a long-awaited family reunion when Bianca crosses paths with her father, David. Bianca didn’t know that David was her father as a child which led to some disgusting scenes in the 1990s as they flirted with each other before the truth was revealed.
Patsy Palmer has had several small stints on the longest-running show. Her character was last seen on the show in June. Bianca was the first person to suspect that her sister Sonia’s partner is involved in some kind of shady business.

Ever since Bianca left, Reiss has spiralled out of control, and he turned into a murderer after killing his comatose wife and scamming Phil Mitchell in the process. So it seems like Bianca might once again warn her sister about Reiss after she returns. Even though Sonia forgave her sister but, with Reiss and Sonia still together and a potential murder charge looming over them, there definitely is some unfinished business between the trio.
