EastEnders spoilers reveal that someone innocent could be the one to reveal Cindy’s affair with her former stepson, Junior. Just when Cindy thought she might have dodged a bullet with David saving her sneaky affair, she has it coming from another way. Read on to know more about it!
EastEnders viewers know that David Wicks recently caught Cindy and Junior kissing down the side of the pub. After the duo arrives, they saw Anna and Freddie hanging out with some bird recording devices. The teen couple left, but Freddie’s recording was kept there itself, and as Cindy started talking to Junior about their affair, they didn’t realize his device was still recording.
The spoilers reveal that Freddie’s device will pick up Cindy’s confession, and it has also recorded David’s conversation with his son Joe Wicks. This whole storyline has taken us back to the history of the soap, and we cannot help but wonder if a narrative is going to repeat itself during the 40th anniversary next year. A few regular viewers of the BBC programme took to X and shared their views about 90s storyline ‘Sharongate’ being used again.

Long-term viewers know that Sharongate was about Grant learning about Sharon’s affair with Phill Mitchell through a tape recording. Something similar also happened in 2007 when Stacey and Max’s affair was revealed by a clip. Oh god, this is so iconic. However, it is only October, so even if Freddie finds out about Cindy and Junior’s affair, will he be able to keep it to himself for four more months until the soap’s milestone?
The show is getting messier by every passing minute and we cannot get enough of it. It looks like an innocent Freddie will be caught in the wind of Cindy’s messy affair with her ex-husband’s son.
