Keep scrolling to learn more.
Danny Dyer Is Redefining Strength And Vulnerability
The BBC soap legend Danny Dyer has spoken out about the lack of emotional guidance for young men in today’s society. The actor believes that many males are raised to be boys but are never actually taught how to become ‘men’. That’s why Danny wants a balance between traditional masculinity and the ability to embrace a softer side.
For sure, the star admits he enjoys male banter. Despite that he thinks that it is vital for men to tap into their feminine side and discuss their feelings. We have seen Danny’s history of playing hardman roles in films like The Football Factory. But Danny calls himself a sensitive soul who values affection.
He argues that the fear of being perceived as too cuddly prevents men from maturing into decent adults. Hence, Dyer suggests that true maturity is being ‘comfortable’ with crying and showing love.
EastEnders Star Opens Up About His Personal Journey
Danny spoke about his journey with mental health and addiction. When he spent time in rehabilitation, he learned that deep breathing and mindfulness were essential for managing his anxiety. Elsewhere, the actor is also concerned for the younger generation growing up in a world ‘dominated’ by AI. He is worried that technology makes society lazy and prevents children from experiencing real-world connections.
Elsewhere, Danny played Mick Carter on the BBC soap. Mick Carter’s exit was one of the most emotional ones. His last episode carried a long buildup with Linda Carter and Janine. Janine’s truth came out, and everything fell apart. She had framed Linda for a drunk driving accident and wanted to keep Mick away from her. Soon she was exposed, but she ran towards Dover. This chase led the three of them to the cliff.
Janine’s car went over the edge with her and Linda inside. To protect them, Mick jumped in. First, he saved Janine because Linda asked him to save the baby. Then he went back for Linda. However, he was unaware that she had already escaped from the other side. And that’s it, as Mick never came back up.
However, his body was never found. Meanwhile, do you agree with Danny’s comments about men? Let us know in the comments section. For more EastEnders spoilers and updates, keep following Soap Opera Daily.
