EastEnders actor Danny Dyer has opened up about why he left the soap. It seems that he left the soap because of something, or shall we say somebody. His character, Mick Carter, is believed to be dead, and he left the soap back in 2022. In his final moments on the soap, he had a showdown with Janice Butcher and Linda Carter. EastEnders Danny Says, ‘The Job Was Offered At The Right Time’
EastEnders star Danny Dyer is one of those actors who will be taking part in the latest series of The Assembly, which features autistic, neurodivergent or learning-disabled interviewers. On the show he was questioned about the soap. He answered and elaborated on how he got the job at the right time.
“I reached a point where I’d made many mistakes in my life and no one would employ me anymore,” Dyer said. He further added that ‘EastEnders came from nowhere and told him that they love him and would want to put him in the Queen Vic.’
The soap star further added that ‘it saved his life, and those four years were truly incredible.’ Danny also revealed how things changed for him when former producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins left.
He further added that because of which there was a huge change in the storyline also. Mick was seen in a relationship with Janine. Dyer further elaborated that he was scared that now his character is set up with Janine, which means that it is very possible that his character might die soon.
Danny Revealed That He Knew When It Was Time To Leave
Danny said, “A new producer came in, and he didn’t like the Caters.” He further added that the producer started to sack people like Mike’s son and daughter.
“They split me up from Kellie and put me with Janine,” he added. The actor further added that he was shocked to learn that he was set up with Janine as she murdered people. “I thought, ‘Oh no, if I stay too long, she’ll kill me – I’ve got to get out,” he said.
Dyer further said that Mick went into the sea, and since then he was never seen again. Well, is it possible that someday he might come back to the Square?
