EastEnders fans are double-taking today, because Davood Ghadami doesn’t look like the man they remember from Albert Square. His shift into the House of David feels bigger than expected. Keep scrolling to learn more.
Davood’s New Path Beyond EastEnders
When Davood was on the BBC soap, he became a familiar face for the audience. He played Kush Kazemi for years, and people were attached to his character. However, we will now see him in a totally different setting. He will be playing Eliab in House of David for Prime Video. However, he looks unrecognisable in it.
He will have some rough emotional stakes and heavy actions in the project. We will also see him build a world around, and the rise of a young outcast named David. David will move from being a normal boy to being chosen as the future king of Israel. Moreover, his journey is similar to King Saul, who falls into his own pride and downfall. We will also get to see David facing the Philistines along with Goliath.
Elsewhere, Davood’s role as Eliab is completely different from what he played on the soap earlier. He was clean-shaven back then, but now that’s gone. Here, he has grown a full beard and looks sharper physically. He has worked harder on his fitness after leaving the soap. Even on his Instagram page, he posts about his gym sessions.
Elsewhere, when Kush existed, the BBC soap many things happened. The producers did not renew his contract, and he had a send-off. In his final storyline, Kush was pushed into the path of a Tube train. After this, more than a hundred people filed official complaints about that violent scene. After exiting, he played Eli Ebrahimi in Holby City.
Fans React To His New Look
In Holyby City, he was only there for eighteen months. It was because the show was ending after twenty-three years. He then appeared in Beyond Paradise as Ben Tyler. He later took part in a celebrity edition of Pointless with James Bye, who played Martin Fowler.
Elsewhere, Davood recently posted a scene from House of David. He captioned it with a line about two warriors, one fighting an enemy and the other fighting himself. One user wrote, “My favourite show.” Another said, “Best show ever.” A third remarked, “I love this show. Fabulous acting.”
Others commented, “Ooh, looking forward to watching this.” Another said, “Words just can’t! This season is amazing”. Somebody else wrote, “Jaw-dropping good!” Davood’s shift to a biblical battlefield shows how far he has come as an actor. For more EastEnders spoilers and updates, keep following Soap Opera Daily.
