EastEnders spoilers relay that the Walford accountant and his partner, Sonia, recently announced their pregnancy. This was only possible through IVF treatment and Reiss’ used his wife Debbie’s money to fund his partner’s medical bills. In a bid to secure financial security, he scammed Sharon Watts and now has killed his wife, Debbie, in dark scenes after not dealing with his complications properly.
However, this whole storyline seems to be getting more attention than it actually deserves, according to some fans. Some of the viewers took to Reddit and shared their opinions on the same. One of them said they are absolutely sick of the Sonia and Reiss storyline. They further emphasised on how that they cannot stand Reiss’ character as he whimpers across their screens.
It seems like EastEnders viewers think this storyline is boring and being stretched out of proportion. Several others on the Reddit thread highlighted how Debbie’s coming back from the dead can save this and will definitely make for an intriguing storyline now. Long-time soap opera fans know that it is normal for a dead person to come back and start a good life on soaps.
As of now, the viewers are irritated by Reiss and Sonia, and they’re expecting drastic twists & turns to make this narrative more interesting.
