There’s a new mind-blowing theory circulating on TikTok surrounding the upcoming New Year’s Day flashforward episode. Initially, the speculation was that Denise would cheat on her husband, Jack, with his brother, Max Branning.
In those flash-forward scenes, an emotional Lauren was seen comforting a grieving Jack Branning. Hence, viewers panicked over the total absence of Denise assuming a bitter marital split had occurred.
However, fans assume the wedding ring the detective is seen holding mirrors the jewellery of his late wife, Ronnie Mitchell. As we know the iconic Mitchell sisters drowned in 2017. So this means the highly anticipated broadcast next year would be the exact tenth anniversary of that horrific double funeral.
Ronnie died as Roxy was heavily intoxicated and slipped away from the wedding reception. To go swimming, she jumped into the hotel’s pool.
