EastEnders could be airing a shocking Christmas death that will leave the Carter family heartbroken. This comes after festive scenes on the BBC soap’s set were revealed, and now pictures of the cast gathering up for a funeral are out. In the images, viewers saw a white coffin being carried into the church as the Carter family mourned in their pain. With Linda nowhere to be found on the set has sparked rumours that she might have passed away.
We can clearly witness in the pictures that Carter family members have gathered around a coffin with Johnny being particularly affected. A few fans have speculated that Linda might have killed herself after the guilt of murdering Keanu last year has affected her in a major way. But, the latest fan theories are dropping clues about an even bigger plot twist. One of them took to an online forum and suggested that this funeral ordeal could be for the future.

As in, no one might pass away during the festive season and this could all be something happening after the BBC soap’s anniversary week in February next year. He noted, “Maybe Linda will die in anniversary week, but it will be a whodunnit. “Whatever happens at Xmas will result in many people plotting her downfall. Like another of the six, Bernie or even Eve to protect Suki and Stacey.”
Other fans also chimed in and called the theory ‘really interesting.’ This actually sounds like something that seems plausible. In the leaked funeral images, we were able to see Maddy Hill and Danny Hatchard reprising their roles as Nancy and Lee Carter for the funeral, which is presumably for a loved one.
