In a very few days, George has been through so much; first, he learnt about Nicola’s betrayal, followed by his abusive father’s death. After Eddie Knight’s demise, George has been feeling guilty. The drama peaked when Eddie was carried away in a private ambulance. After which George blamed himself for the villains’ death.
Hence, to escape his thoughts, he clashes with Nicola Mitchell over the secret cash bribes she accepted from the old man. Later, he heads straight to the boxing ring for a friendly sparring session with Mark.
However, the workout takes a dangerous turn when George loses control. He increases his fighting intensity forcing his opponent Mark into a desperate self-defence situation. Hence, Mark accidentally lands a heavy punch directly on George’s head.
After which the businessman is left completely unconscious on the canvas. Fortunately, a panicked Phil rushes into the club to halt the chaos.
Nicola Is Cornered After She Is Exposed
After the terrifying ringside accident, Phil Mitchell is forced to expose a life-threatening brain injury that George developed a couple of years ago. Hence, that should have permanently barred him from entering a ring.
Initially, a confused George refuses any urgent hospital treatment. However, the physical trauma forces him to confess to his friend. The former boxer admits that he actively stood back and let his abusive father choke to death.
However, Phil Mitchell quickly takes the unstable resident home. He even confronts a clueless Nicola with the hidden reality of her partner’s fragile neurological condition. Despite this, Nicola tries to justify her financial manipulation to her family.
Elsewhere, Harry urges his mum to confess the truth to Gina before the patriarch exposes the secret himself. Meanwhile, has George put himself in trouble, triggering his health issue?
