The pub landlord will learn a shocking financial conspiracy organised by his terminally ill father, Eddie Knight and partner Nicola Mitchell. In fact, after having a major domestic confrontation, George will make a split-second decision to eliminate the threat.
Eddie has been secretly hiding out at the residence during his final days rather than serving his prison sentence. And it was Nicola who had pushed this domestic setup and pressured George to offer Eddie a final chance at family redemption. However, we know this act of mercy was all a part of Nicola’s greed.
Eddie had made a deal with her and offered her a huge cash payout in exchange for a fraudulent ticket out of his prison cell. However, Gina Knight was distressed by the situation as she was scared by her grandfather’s historical racism and cruelty. Unfortunately, Gina’s fears came true when Eddie abused her after which George had to step in. he even threatened an immediate return to the cells.

Eddie realised that he would have to spend his remaining days behind bars. That’s when he retaliates by ‘exposing’ the financial arrangement. And when George learns this, he is completely disgusted. He actually believed that his father had evolved into a better person. In fact, he couldn’t believe that Nicola was using Eddie’s bank for personal gain.
