Mark Faces Financial Pressure
We are all aware that Mark is trapped by a criminal gang. And so, he needs £100,000 to get his freedom. Elsewhere, Grant tried to use his signature Mitchell muscle to solve the problem. However, his interference only pushes Mark further away.
Initially, Mark refuses to ask his father for financial help. And it’s mainly because he sees Grant distracted by his attraction to Linda Carter. But time doesn’t stop for anyone, and so doesnt for him as well. Later, he confesses everything about his debt to Vicki Fowler. He also tries to sell extra vehicles through Lauren Beale’s car lot.
Fortunately, Phil Mitchell steps in to provide a £30,000 loan to stall the gangsters. However, how stupid of Sam Mitchell to reveal the secret to Grant. Despite Phil’s hot-headed warning, Grant decides to handle the situation on his own.
The returnee soon tracks down Mark’s boss, Russell for a violent confrontation. And his only intention was to scare the gang off. But unfortunately, this little chat backfires. Hence, the head gangster invades the Square in search of Mark.
EastEnders: Grant And Mark’s Relationship Is In Ruins
The situation turns terrifying when Russell breaks into Vicki’s home to reveal the shocking reality of the debt. Soon, Mark realises that Grant’s meddling has put his family in even greater danger. That’s when he reaches his breaking point. Next, Mark asks his father to leave him alone and stay out of his life forever.
Now, the little hope of a reconciliation that Grant wanted since his return to Walford has been shattered. Meanwhile, Mark will also face further pressure from Lauren. She will question the suspicious origins of the classic cars he tried to sell. Hence, we will see him struggling to cover up the fact that the vehicles were stolen.
