EastEnders star Heather Peace beats the odds by putting out a major health update on her 51st birthday. The popular actress told fans that she finished chemotherapy over a year ago.
The happy woman posted a short clip to show off her new hair and thank her personal stylist for helping her through the tough recovery. Meanwhile, here is the health update the soap star shared with her followers.
Heather Peace Celebrates Major Milestone After Cancer Battle
The past few years have been extremely tough for the beloved Heather Peace as she battled breast cancer. As we know the star was diagnosed with cancer at age 49, but she is now grateful and incredibly happy to make it to her 51st birthday.
Heather revealed that it has been one year and one month since her last chemotherapy session. And now the actress is incredibly happy to have her eyebrows, eyelashes and a full head of hair back again.
In fact, a close friend and hair expert helped her to take care of her hair as it grew back in phases. The actress added, “I’m feeling blessed. I’m feeling grateful. I’m feeling strong. Thank you for all the birthday messages. They’re appreciated. Diagnosed at 49; just made my 51st birthday and I couldn’t be happier.”
Several of her co-stars also proudly reacted to the post with Clair Norris saying, “Love you gorgeous lady!!!” Elsewhere, Balvinder Sopal said, “Smashing life,” while Michelle Ryan wrote, “Gorgeous and a warrior.” Diane Parish commented, “You’re amazing.”

Eve loses her temper and violently lashes out at Nicola. In this incident, it could permanently ruin her reputation with social services.
