EastEnders favourites Honey and Billy Mitchell fail to reignite their romance during a ‘disastrous’ dinner date. Well, the married couple had planned a romantic evening at Knight Fusion to escape their recent bedroom rut.
However, terrible relationship advice from Alfie Moon and Nicola completely ruined the mood. Meanwhile, here is how the awkward date night unfolded on screen.
Nicola & Alfie Give The Married Couple Opposite Relationship Advice
Things haven’t been in favour of Honey and Billy Mitchell recently. Hence, they try to fix their marriage with a dinner date. But some terrible advice from their friends completely ruins the evening.
Elsewhere, after the awkward dinner, Honey feels rejected, and this gives an enemy the perfect chance to step in, manipulate the situation and plan a shocking public lie to tear the popular couple apart.
The trouble starts when Honey Mitchell shares that a sexy red dress is ready for the special night. She admitted to Nicola, “I just want to feel desirable again.” However, the friend gives a very bad suggestion. Nicola thinks that acting cold is a smart idea, promising, “He’ll be all over you.” Meanwhile, Billy Mitchell talks to Alfie Moon at the Queen Vic about how perimenopause and back aches have stopped their love life.
So Alfie suggests letting the wife make the first move. He offers the tip saying, “Don’t pile on the pressure and let her take the lead.” Unfortunately, these clashing ideas cause total disaster at the restaurant. And it’s because Billy avoids physical contact to prevent any pressure. In fact, Billy even claimed sex is not important. And this disappoints Billy who was already acting distant to seem mysterious.
EastEnders: Bea Pollard Uses The Failed Date To Turn Honey Against Her Husband
The evening ends on a bad note as Billy goes straight to sleep after the football match. He leaves his wife incredibly lonely. Later, when Honey visits the local shop she bumps into Bea and confesses that the romantic evening failed.
Well, that was enough for the neighbourhood villain to use this sadness to create a wedge between the pair. She claims that Billy does not deserve a wife after making her feel like an old slice-up loaf. After which Honey is left confused and walks back home.
Meanwhile, Bea smiles to herself and is thrilled that her toxic plan is working perfectly. Next, the scheme plans to launch a fake seduction accusation at Billy in front of the entire pub?
