Howie Faces Trouble As Anthony Spots The Ring
Howie and Anthony put a lot of effort into behaving as if nothing was wrong when they were with each other. Still, they are both aware of things that they wouldn’t want to be discovered by anyone else. Howie was breaking the law in small ways a few times, as he needed some money. And even Kim is unaware of his activities. He thinks that if he remains careful, the problem will fade out.
Meanwhile, Anthony Trueman has been behaving weirdly in recent times. Even people around him notice how he attends too many private calls. Elsewhere, the calls revolve around Patrick. However, nobody knows the exact context yet. He has been trying to control it, but still raises suspicion.
However, things take a turn when Anthony sees that Howie is holding Penny Branning’s ring. He thought that Howie was planning to propose to Kim. And because of this, Howie had to make a sudden decision. However, instead of correcting Anthony, he actually implemented that idea by proposing Kim for real. He thought that this way he could solve his situation.
Later, Howie kneels and proposes, and Kim says a “yes.” However, the problem actually begins here. It is because Penny realises that her ring is missing. She then tells Anthony about it. And he immediately thinks of Howie’s ring. He begins to collect proof and then corners Howie for an explanation. However, Howie then brings up Anthony’s secret calls. After this, both men try to control the situation. Now they both know about each other’s secrets. Also, neither of them wants to reveal their exact motives.
EastEnders Moves Towards Another Family Breakdown
While Anthony and Howie are struggling to keep their secrets, the Mitchell family is hit with another crisis. Teddy is preparing to take the blame for Okie’s murder. But it was Harry who had killed him. However, Teddy wants to shield him. He doesn’t want his son to face prison.
However, Harry is consumed with guilt. Afterwards, when George Knight visits his place, he takes off the mask. He informs him that Teddy is clean and that he, in fact, had committed the crime. After this, George suggests that he tell the police. However, Nicola steps in and stops Harry from doing so. Later, Gina and George push Harry to attend his father’s trial.
