EastEnders legend Lorraine Stanley, popularly known as Karen Taylor on the BBC One soap, has recently shared updates about her personal life. The 47-year-old actress took to social media and shared a bunch of pictures to wish her fiancé on his birthday. In cosy photos, she showed off her slimmed-down figure. Stanley looked terrific in one of the pictures, where she was seen wearing a white top with denim shorts and a cross-body bag. Fans know that she is engaged to her long-time lover, Mark, who also looked dapper in the picture. She posted a carousel of photos and wrote, ‘Happy birthday to my fiancé @markyp1977. Thank you for being so wonderful. You’re the best day & you’re my soulmate forever. We love you to bits. Have the best day, hugs and kisses from me and Nancy.’

The couple got engaged last year, and the actress shared her happiness with her fans. She was seen in a white dress and a beautiful tiara and captioned the photo, ‘Love you baby #Engaged.’ Previously in 2022, Lorraine posted a few pictures of the couple celebrating their eighth anniversary. Furthermore, the EastEnders icon also spoke about her healthy living and said that she’d lost five stone in a year after making ‘healthy choices.’
As for her stint on the BBC soap, the actress recently bid farewell to the show forever after seven big years. Lorraine Stanley played an amazing role as Karen Taylor on the BBC One soap. She recently made her final appearance on the show at her son, Keanu’s funeral. In the memory of her seven years, she took to Instagram and announced her final exit from the soap opera by sharing a video montage.
She wrote, ‘Well, that’s a wrap!! I’ve had the best 7 years!! Thankyou @bbceastenders for having me. @daranlittle for creating the Taylor’s, Sean O’Connor for giving me the opportunity with the @bbc @crampsielinge for casting me, I really can’t thank you enough 🙏🏽❤️’
