And Kim was surprised by his gesture. She has been rebuilding trust in him, and so she accepts his proposal. She wanted to have a future with Howie, where there was stability and wanted to settle down. However, she doesn’t know that Howie has already done so much that it will crumble their beautiful world. Howie had blackmailed Peter and Lauren, stolen items and also gambled. And Kim had no clue about this at all. He would hand over the gifts and pretend that he received them by doing extra shifts.
Elsewhere, Anthony Trueman feels that something is off. He then watches Howie’s behaviour and knows that he is hiding something darker. Then the engagement part begins at Harry’s Barn. And Kim is happy and getting attention from her friends and family. However, Anthony corners Howie with solid proof. And Howie will have to answer his questions, which he tried to avoid.
However, Anthony isnt innocent either. And Howie also reminds him about that. And so they agree that both secrets stay hidden. Meanwhile, Kim is unaware of what has been happening around her. She believes she reached a peaceful place with Howie and their families. The party continues. However, the engagement party might not go down well as she had imagined.
Kim Faces The Consequences Of Howie’s Betrayal In EastEnders
Kim has been someone who will go all out for someone she loves. And if she ever finds out about Howie’s lies, it would break her. Kim wouldn’t be affected by the crimes or the money, but the betrayal is what would hurt her the most. Kim has been working very hard to regain her trust after she has been through a rough time. And now she might blame herself for letting Howie into her life.
