Max Is Concerned For Lauren!
In the last episode, the soap viewers saw Lauren Branning winning the bet with her father, Max. She managed to sell £80,000 worth of cars. Thus, Max was forced to sign the ownership of Maximum Motors over to his daughter. Lauren then headed to Queen Vic to celebrate the good news with her husband, Peter Beale and with their loved ones.
Lauren told her husband Peter that she was actually going to miss it as she glanced over Mark. Thus, she made it clear that she wasn’t just talking about the closing deals. Meanwhile, the soap fans know that Lauren managed to hit her target due to a dodgy deal with Mark, who had secretly been sourcing stolen vehicles for her so that she could sell them on the car lot.
They had decided to stop their dealings once Lauren took over Maximum Motors. However, the excitement and thrill made it difficult to walk away from. Thus, she ended up making Mark a business proposal. Elsewhere, Max thought that Lauren was involved in some crime with Mark. He asked Priya Nandra-Hart about him. Priya was a bit hesitant at first, but finally admitted that he was involved in some really bad stuff with the same gang Ravi Gulati was involved with.
Lauren’s Decision Could Destroy Everything
Priya added that Mark was dangerous, while Max was concerned for Lauren. Meanwhile, Lauren went to see Mark at the gym. When she saw a fight between him and Grant, she realised that Mark needed some fast cash to repay him and suggested continuing their business scheme. Mark smiled and said that he would take the blame if anything went wrong. They shook hands and stared into each other’s eyes.
Elsewhere, the soap previously aired a flashforward episode to Max’s wedding day on New Year’s Day 2027. She saw Lauren agreeing to meet someone in the Square. She appears to still be with Peter.
