Max Bowden’s Stage Success
Max shared a mirror photo in a black coat to celebrate his last performance. The actor called the project a “hoot”, thanking his team for pushing his acting skills. He also mentioned that he finished dressing up as a policeman and a vicar for the show. But now, Max is grateful for the journey as he moves on.
Max captioned his post saying, “Final selfie as Paul/Ben! Said goodbye to @murderplayuk and what a hoot it was! A lot of fun was had! Thanks @originaltheatrecompany for stretching my muscles further once again. Always grateful. No more dressing up as a policeman/vicar/very dead person. Onto the next!”
Several fans also reacted to his post with one saying, “Loved you as Paul! Loved seeing you on stage in this different role. You can see how much you enjoyed this job and being on stage. Can’t wait to see what’s next for you, Max.” Another wrote, “Thank you for such an awesome play and you were amazing in Murder at Midnight, and I was so glad that I got to see it twice and to see you again as well and I can’t wait to see what you do next?
Will Max Ever Return To EastEnders?
Max Bowden played Ben Mitchell on the BBC soap. He was off-screen for over a year, but last year he did return for a short period. Ben returned to Walford on a day release from prison to attend the funeral of his father-in-law, Jonno Highway. However, his return was overshadowed. And it’s because his husband, Callum Highway, was cheating on him with Johnny Carter.
Hence, we witnessed the bitter emotional confrontation between the couple. As of now the character is in prison. Max Bowden described the stint as “lovely to do.” However, he also clarified that he has no plans to return permanently.
