EastEnders: Max Forces Priya To Hide In A Vehicle Boot
The drama kicks off at The Arches when Priya uses the threat of exposing their past hook-up to lure Max into another secret rendezvous at the workshop. Now Sophie Khan Levy, who plays Priya, has discussed her character’s mindset.
She noted, “She’s taking satisfaction from feeling in control again, something she’s felt she’s lost. On the surface it’s fun and distracting, but deep down I don’t think she truly enjoys it.” Also, later, the risky encounter goes wrong when Lauren Beale and Cindy arrive at the garage without warning.
Now, to protect his engagement, a panicked Max convinces Priya to climb into the trunk of a nearby vehicle. However, even that plan backfires when Lauren hops behind the wheel and drives away with the trapped passenger inside. Meanwhile, Max is forced to stay behind and is interrogated by a suspicious Cindy Beale.
Priya Returns To Albert Square And Plots Revenge Against Her Boss
On one hand, Max has to fake excuses back at the square in front of Cindy, and on the other hand, Priya is forced to take a highly uncomfortable journey crammed inside the moving car. But soon she manages to escape the vehicle.
Later, a furious and offended Priya heads back to the neighbourhood wanting immediate revenge against Max. Sophie added, “What isn’t going through her mind? She’s trying to figure out how to get out of the situation, while also panicking about what happens if she’s caught. She’s also furious with Max for putting her into that position.”
Adding further the performer states, “The humiliation cut deep, especially given what she was enjoying about the relationship. Max has shifted her from feeling in control to feeling humiliated…it’s a very dangerous game for Max to be playing.”
