Former EastEnders actress Natalie Cassidy has been facing an absolute nightmare. The legendary Sonia Fowler, actress, revealed she was ‘traumatised’ after her young daughter was rushed to A&E with a severe injury.

Natalie Speaks On Her Daughter’s Severe Injury
Natalie’s nine-year-old Joanie had suffered a severe fall in the hallway right before physical education class. And the saddest part is that it occurred just weeks after the young child underwent ‘surgical’ treatment for an identical injury on the very same limb.
Natalie had received the urgent telephone call at home which shattered a peaceful afternoon. After which, the BBC soap star felt incredibly broken. Now, speaking about the traumatic phone call, the mother confessed that feeling as if one was having a nervous breakdown became overwhelming.
The podcaster was in a terrible emotional state when she watched her child receive general anaesthesia and heavy medication. In fact, she also prompted the admission, “Joanie’s broken her arm again,” followed by the description, “Same arm smashed to pieces. General anaesthesia, same operation.”
The actress added, “I felt I was going to have a nervous breakdown. I’m being really honest here. I really fell to pieces. I was not in a good place. Just her little body and the medication and the trauma of it all.” Later, the specialised consultant confirmed that the results were perfect. And she concluded, “I do think it’s just really bad luck.”

Natalie has also been using an expanding digital platform to advocate for safer childhood environments across the country. She strongly supports the recent government ban restricting social media platform usage for individuals under sixteen years of age.
She was also horrified by the results of a recent investigation that exposed how algorithmic feeds target underage users with toxic content. Hence, she actively campaigns against cyber dangers saying, “I cannot tell you how shocking it is.”
Natalie also warns that children are exposed to horrific themes online stating, “They are looking at sexualised content, racism, misogyny, extreme dieting going towards anorexia, self-harming and even suicidal idealisation. It’s incredible.
