A Tumultuous Arrival On EastEnders
We have seen Nicola Mitchell’s character display a much more vulnerable side lately. In fact, she is one of the Square’s fiercest residents. However, recently while experiencing motherhood and family trauma, she has been chipped away at that hard-as-nails front. Hence, fans got to see a more relatable woman beneath the Mitchell exterior.
Elsewhere, Nicola has proved that the other key ingredient in Mitchell’s recipe is family loyalty. She did when covering for her son, Harry Mitchell. Harry had killed his former captor, and Nicola and Teddy worked to keep him out of prison. Teddy even accepted a life sentence to protect his son.
But Nicola’s perspective changed when she learned she was pregnant. After a tumultuous, premature birth, Nicola was isolated from her daughter, Ivy. However, throughout this trauma, George proved to be a tower of strength for her. Hence, the pair eventually gave things a go as a proper couple.

Next week, the parents prepare to bring Ivy home. However when the family throws a surprise party, Nicola feels completely overwhelmed. Later, she has a chat with Gina Knight which brings some comfort.
But soon Nicola sees some missed calls on George’s phone from the hospital. Believing it could be related to Ivy, she rushes to the hospital. However, there she comes face-to-face with George’s evil adoptive father, Eddie Knight.
The villainous character says he is dying. He had previously used George in a murder trial regarding the death of George’s biological father. But Nicola endeavours to keep her discovery a secret. However, soon George learns the truth about Eddie.
